Every competitor who stepped on the mats represented our academy with courage, discipline, and respect. Winning medals is great, but the real victory is having the heart to test yourself, learn, and grow.
Competition is not easy. It requires preparation, sacrifice, and the willingness to face challenges in front of everyone. That’s why every athlete who competed deserves recognition.
To our kids, teens, and adults
we are very proud of you.
Thank you to the parents, coaches, and teammates who continue to build this incredible community. This is what Etobicoke BJJ is about: supporting each other, improving together, and living the Jiu-Jitsu lifestyle.
On to the next challenge.

COMP WEEK TIPS
Keep it simple. Keep it sharp.
• Early week = your work.
Mon/Tues: sharper rounds.
Wed/Thurs: drilling + movement.
Fri: light or off.
• A-game only.
Go to your strongest guard, pass, takedown, and 1-2 escapes you trust.
• Fuel + hydrate.
2-3L water/day, electrolytes, high protein + steady carbs.
(If cutting: keep it lean + carbs earlier in the day.)
• Recovery wins matches.
Prioritize sleep, mobility, and low stress.
• Mindset:
Visualize your grips, first move, and escape routes.
Nerves are normal - trust your training.
Show up ready. Grip first. Play YOUR game. Good Luck!
