Thank you to all of our officials (referees, secretariat, armoury and medical), who worked etremely hard and under sometimes challenging circumstances, to provide the athetes with a great competition! Its been a long season with one extra national competition this year, and your efforts are truly appreciated!

Thank you as well to the dedicated volunteers from the Brock University Fencing Team and the Niagara Swords Fencing Club, under the direction of Tim Stang and Kristine Richardson, for your efforts this weekend!

It’s going to take a while to let it really set in… The Olympics have been a long time dream of mine and there’s been quite the journey to get here.

To the athletes I have the honour to work with daily, I am continuously in awe of your ambition and drive to accept nothing but the best from yourselves! Your grit and determination is unparalleled. It has been my privilege getting to know all of you and your unique stories that have lead you up to this moment. Thank you for trusting me to be in your corner.

To the team behind the team, we were a village! Grateful for all I’ve learned and continue to learn being apart of our IST.

To my friends and family, your endless support and understanding has meant more than you’ll ever know.
