First off thank you to all competitors and crew members that raced with us this year there was some awesome racing this year and some very good battles throughout the season for the championship.

A big Thank you goes out to all the class sponsors that support the series it is truly amazing to have each and everyone of them as a part of the program.

A big thank you goes out to everyone that was able to attend the final weekend and due to the equipment failure on sunday we were not going to give up we wanted to give everyone the chance to race for the final points that all competitors fought so hard for all season to finish it the way it should be.

Thank you to the entire Grand bend staff for all the hard work they put in all season as well as the countless hours they spend making sure that all the races go as planned most days lol.

Here are some details for the upcoming bracket finals at Darana Dragway Milan Mich

There is two Canadian teams this year so good news is everyone that signed up is able to attend this event your tech card is designated with aa G (grand Bend) or S (ST. Thomas/shannonville) we will still be one group when it comes to team Canada events in the pits and grand stands Separate Teams on the track SO PLEASE WATCH WHEN ROLLING INTO THE LANES TO AVOID TEAM MATES AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.

If you pickled up your tech cards and information package on the weekend it outlines the schedule of events for the weekend if you have not yet received them good news Judy moon will be there wednesday with spare tech cards for competitors to pick up when you arrive please fill out and register.

Thursday is the Race of champions $ 50 OPTIONAL BUY IN WITH 100 PECENT PAYBACK which include

JAY TALBOT (MOD)
KEITH LINDSAY(JUNIOR)

Friday evening will be the team POT luck so hopefully everyone can bring some delicuous goodies to the table if you post your items it may help make the friday pot luck even better i am hoping we use the gomes pit as in previous years but may need some tables to help with lay out.

SATURDAY Evening At 6 Pm will be the team dinner supplied by Grand Bend and ST.Thomas it is a BBQ catered Dinner for you all to enjoy.

Our Theme this year is a Beaver Theme So Hopefully everyone can come up with some great ideas.

Team Shirts will be with Paul when he gets there Thursday.

Tonight's Two Wheel Motorcycle lapping program is cancelled. With the amount of rain we have received already and the expected amount over the next few hours, it isn't feasible to run the program.

Here is the recap of the Sunday race completed today.
Maple City Tire Mod ET - Bradley Deeks vs Jeff Talbot, Both drivers nailed the tree .0052 and .0008 lights but Bradley ran right on the dial with a 0 for the win.
Tommy's Motors Top ET - Brad Talbot vs Ryan Kelly. Ryan had a great .008 light but ran too quick handing Brad the win.
Washington Pools/Concrete Solutions Bike/Sled - Brandon Satchell doubled up ( Sat & Sun) with a win over Ian Washington using a .009 light for the advantage.
Fox's Autosound Sportsman - Kimberley Arquette with the victory over Greg Roy. Greg had the better light but Kim ran closer to the dial for the victory.
Rocksedge Extreme 32 - was a door car (Ted Dunham) vs dragster (Kevin Knight) final. Ted turned on the red bulb giving Kevin the win.
CSN Open Comp - Dan Morgran took the win over Paul Alexander in a double breakout race.
Advanced Drainage Systems Junior Dragster - Keith Lindsay went the distance taking the win over McKenna Veldman, he used a .007 light to his advantage forcing Mckenna to run under trying to catch him. Chrisander Ouellette won Junior Consolation.
Our Show cars put on another great round of passes
Otis Symon took his Jet Dragster to an impressive 5.28 at 300 MPH ( ran a 301 pass on Saturday as well)
Russ Lethbridge put on another great display with the Hellfire Jet Truck and ran 7.86 at 215MPH.
Perry Carey had another quality lap in the Black Gold front engine dragster running 6.98 at 192MPH
The Dobbs Funny Car got in a decent lap at 5.71 and 241MPH.
The 3 remaining competitors in the Outlaw Fast 16 ( Paul Coull, Mike Kalin and Rick Yacos) will complete this race at their next event.

Today concludes the GBM Thunder/Junior series program for 2026. Points will be reviewed and drops applied tomorrow to get the final point totals and declare the Champions.

Due to an equipment failure on the track( tractor blew a hydraulic line) we were unable to complete the race yesterday but with so many Championships so close we have repaired the track and will be completing the race today. Expected to start between 9:30/10 this morning. Thank you to all the racers/crew who came out to help especially Rodney Gomes who put in a ton of effort/time last night. Also thanks to the GBM staff and Dale Strieb for all your hard work making today possible
