What a weekend for Belvedere at the inaugural PEIGA event of the season - the Avondale Open! ⛳

After two rounds of exceptional golf in every type of weather, Hunter Burke and Jason Poley found themselves tied for the lead with fellow members Mark Carragher and Grant Koughan at 10-under par. The teams headed to a playoff, where Hunter drained a long birdie on the third playoff hole to secure the title.

Stephen Anderson and Brodie Ward finished third one shot out of the playoff.

It's a tremendous accomplishment to have three Belvedere teams finish 1-2-3 in a PEIGA event and a fantastic start to the Order of Merit season.

Congratulations to all of our members who competed and represented Belvedere so well this weekend!

Belvedere has its first hole-in-one of the 2026 season!

Congratulations to 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐝𝐲, who recorded an ace on 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐞 #𝟕 today.

Fred was playing alongside Dave Blanchard, Gary Cudmore, and Merrill Wigginton when he pulled off one of golf's rarest feats.

Some hole-in-ones are memorable because of the shot. Others are memorable because of the person who hit it. Anyone who knows Fred knows he's a fighter. He keeps showing up, keeps competing, and keeps proving that determination never goes out of style. We couldn't think of a better person to record our Club's first ace of the year.
