Who else was missing bocce tonight?

A wonderful night to finish up another great bocce season. A HUGE thank you shout out to the incredible folks that volunteer each week to help run such a successful program. We couldn't have done it without you! Thank you once again to the Parkdale Sherwood Lions Club for graciously barbecuing for us this evening. I was informed that tonight's hot dogs and buns were purchased in my late husband's memory by his curling team, "The French Ticklers" ( Because of my late husband's huge bushy mustache 👨). Their generousity touched the athletes, volunteers, parents/care givers and myself. Some athletes may remember my late husband, Chris. He used to accompany his fellow Lion club members in our annual year end closing barbecues. Last but not least, Congratulations to Patty on her double "kisser" this evening. Well done 👏. Well it took a few tries but we finally got a team photo! I hope that the individual photos that the athletes received tonight will provide some good memories of our bocce season. Until we play again next May, please take care of yourself and each other. 😉

Sorry Folks bocce is Cancelled today. It is just too hot! Next week is our final week. Please wear a Special Olympics tee shirt (if you have one ) for our group shot and bring a lawn chair for the BBQ after bocce. Stay cool until next week.😎

We had perfect bocce weather this evening. Fingers crossed that it continues, at least for our next 2 bocce nights. Congratulations to Patty and Brett for their well deserved "kissers". A big shout out to Brett's Uncle Ashley, from New Brunswick, for attending tonight's game and being a regular bocce facebbok follower. It's great to know that family and friends are viewing and enjoying our page. 😊

Tonight's weather was absolutely perfect for bocce. Congratulations to Shane, Mary Beth, Michelle and Dylan on their "kissers" tonight. A huge shout out to Janel for her three, yes
✌️ + ☝️=3 "kissers"!!! We have never had that happen during our eleven years playing bocce! It truly wonderful watching the athletes cheer their teammates on. Thursday evenings are wonderful! 😊

Oh, what a night! Congratulations to Ryan, Dylan, Tommy, Janel and Erin on their "kissers". Brett did it again! He had another two "kisser" night! Well done everyone, well done! 👏.
