Canes Camp is a fun, inclusive program run by Holland College where kids stay active, build confidence, and make friends during the summer, PD Days and March Break. Our primary goal is to provide our ‘Canes Campers with a happy, healthy and rewarding camp experience in a safe environment. Week 7: Holiday Week! 🎄🎃🐰🎈
August 10th - 14th
This week at camp was all about celebrating the holidays! We had an Easter egg hunt for Easter, a New Year’s balloon drop and resolution wall to celebrate Christmas and New Year’s, went trick-or-treating for Halloween, and enjoyed a movie day to celebrate everyone’s birthdays. We also went swimming at Victoria Park and had lots of fun celebrating together!

Week 6: Challenge Week! 💪🏆🎯
August 3rd - 7th
This week at camp was all about putting our skills to the test with lots of fun challenges! We took on tug of war, the Oreo challenge, and an egg drop. We also had a Nerf gun battle, went bowling, and enjoyed wheel day. We beat the heat with a trip to Victoria Park and had a blast with water gun day!

Week 5: Wild Water Week💦🏊♀️☔️
July 27th - 31st
This week at camp we made the most of every day with exciting water relays, a water gun fight, water balloon games, and a giant PEI inflatable water slide! We also enjoyed swimming at Victoria Park and had an action-packed Nerf war. Rain or shine, our campers brought the energy and had an amazing week!

Week 4: Sports Week 🏀🏐🏈⛳
July 20th - 24th
This week at camp we stayed active with basketball, rugby, pickleball, and volleyball stations. We also had special visits from Golf PEI and the Hurricanes Football team. To top it all off, we had an exciting Nerf War and a trip to the bowling alley.

Week 3: Ready, Set, Move! 🏃☀️💪
July 13th - 17th
This week at camp we had an amazing visit from Xclusive Dance Crew, got active with workout stations, cooled off with outdoor water play, and had a blast bouncing on the inflatable. We also enjoyed a special trip to the Confederation Centre to watch The Polka Dot Door.

Week 2 : Wild and Wacky Week🤡✨🤪
July 6th - 10th
This week at camp we had fun with Crazy Hair/Hat Day, Backwards Day, and Mismatch Day. We went swimming at Victoria Park, took part in Wheel Day and a Nerf battle, and enjoyed a presentation from Parks Canada. We ended the week by cheering on our campers and staff at our Talent Show!

Today we are wrapping up our first week of Canes Camp summer 2026!
We kicked things off with an incredible staff talent show and kept the fun going all week long! From Wheel Day and an epic Nerf battle to a water yard party, there was never a dull moment. We also celebrated Canada Day in our best red and white!
