🎯 DON’T AIM AT THE JACK
Aim for the line, not directly at the jack. Bowls are designed to curve!

👀 WATCH EXPERIENCED PLAYERS
You’ll learn a LOT just by observing body language, weight control and shot selection.

🌬️ BREATHE BEFORE YOU DELIVER
A calm breath helps settle nerves and improve focus.

👟 FIND A COMFORTABLE DELIVERY
There’s no “perfect style.” Consistency matters more than looking fancy.

🎱DON’T BE AFRAID TO ASK QUESTIONS
Most bowlers LOVE talking about bowls 😅

📏 WEIGHT IS EVERYTHING
Good weight can save a slightly wrong line.

😅 YOU WILL MISS SHOTS
Even top players do. Forget the bad bowl and focus on the next one.

EXCITING NEWS!!!!

The City has given us the go ahead to be on the greens......

There will be a membership registration session on Wednesday, May 27th, 2026 from 6:30-7:30pm at the club. Membership fee will be $110.00 for the season, with locker rental fee being $10 if you are interested in one.

Our club will be open for bowling on Saturday, May 30th, 2026. Our first fun bowl will begin at 9:30 am. Please arrive at the club at 9:00 am to sign in for the draw of teams. Members can register on this occasion as well!

We look forward to seeing everyone again!!

P.S. Tell a friend!!!!! We would love to see a bunch of new lawn bowlers again this year!!

Following the passing of Rickey Burns, long time 5-Pin Bowling coach and volunteer, Special Olympics PEI’s 5-Pin Bowling Provincials is getting a rebrand. This May 23-24, Special Olympics PEI will host the Rickey Burns Memorial 5-Pin Bowling Provincials.
