Happy Birthday, Luna Play Kids! 💜
On July 1st, Luna Play Kids turns 5 years old.
On June 13th (today!), Coach Tracy turns 35. 🥹
Over the last five years, Luna has gone through more versions than I ever imagined. There was the original rec centre program, mobile programs across Calgary, Chestermere, and Langdon, the Rainbow Falls chapter, and most recently, the Yacht Club iteration, where we were stable for about two and a half years.
I’ll be honest—Season 5 has been the hardest one. There have been moments where I’ve asked myself why I keep doing this.
The answer is always the same: the kids, the families, and the community we’ve built together.
No matter how many times Luna changes and grows, that’s the part that never changes.
As we head into another new chapter, I’m working hard behind the scenes to figure out what’s next. What I do know is that Luna Play Kids isn’t finished yet.
Thank you to every family who has been part of these first five years. You’ve made this little dream bigger than I ever could have imagined. 💜

Looking for a summer gymnastics helper!
Must be 16+ and great with kids. Experience with children is a bonus, but the biggest thing we’re looking for is someone who is energetic, enthusiastic, and willing to jump right in. We can teach gymnastics skills—we can’t teach personality!
☀️ Casual summer position (July & August)
🤸 2–6 hours/week (sometimes more)
📅 Monday and/or Tuesday evenings, plus occasional daytime/weekend shifts
✅ Training in June
