Tickets will also be available at the door, but we do recommend purchasing through eventbrite (the link above) for smoother and faster entry into the building!

We heard you last year and we have purchased 200 more pucks for our Chuck-a-Puck event and we have also added raffle prizes and a 50/50 draw! We look forward to seeing you all there for an even bigger and better event!

Chilliwack, it’s that time of year again! Your Fire Fighters are looking for your help in nominating families in our community that could use some generosity this Christmas. We are looking to sponsor a number of local families this year, building off of what we’ve done the last few years! Please direct message us on either Instagram or Facebook if you have a family in mind that you would like to nominate, or reach out to a fire department member that you may know. A short description of the family would be appreciated. We will be set up at the Chilliwack mall later this month if you’d like to donate to the Christmas hampers. Thank you in advance for helping us help those in need during this holiday season!

We are excited to invite you to the 1st Local 2826 Firefighters charitable Society Poker Tournament! It’s set to be an afternoon/night full of poker, food and great fun—all in support of a fantastic cause!

Event Details:

Date: October 18, 2025
Time: 3:00 PM (sharp!)
Location: Chilliwack Scout Hall on Hope River Rd
Entry Fee: $50 per person
Rebuy Option: $50 (available during the game)
Max Players: 130 (To include room for maybe some dealer and helpers) (First come, first served!)
Out of the $50 entry fee, $20 will go directly to the Chilliwack Professional Firefighter Charitable Society, while the remaining $30 (including rebuys) will go towards the prize pool. The prize structure will be determined based on the number of participants.

How to Join: To secure your spot, please send an e-transfer to [email protected] Please include your full name in the “message” section when sending the e-transfer

Rebuys can be purchased during the tournament with cash or e-transfer.

First come, first served: The venue has a maximum capacity of 150 people, so make sure to secure your spot early!
Drinks will be available for purchase for $4/drink. Please drink responsibly and plan safe transportation.

Local 2826 firefighters charitable society

On behalf of the Chilliwack Professional Firefighters, We would like to thank Save-On-Foods, Cohesive Mechanical and the entire Chilliwack Chiefs staff for helping us put this event on, it would not have been possible with our all of your help! Also a huge thank you to everyone who came out to support us at our guns vs hoses hockey game on Saturday. It was a great success with well over 600 people in attendance and we look forward to making it an annual spring break event! We were able to raise almost $7000 for local charities in our community and we very much appreciate your support! We Hope to see you next year for an even bigger and better event!
