Thank you for this wonderful opportunity. I am genuinely looking forward to working with everyone attending the seminar as we explore the historic self-defence practices preserved in the Bubishi, the practical application of two-person kata, and the rich history and culture of the art that has brought us all together. Just as importantly, I look forward to renewing old friendships, making new ones, and enjoying the camaraderie that has always been one of the greatest rewards of our shared journey.
As this will be my final visit to Canada, I know these moments will hold a very special place in my heart, and I hope to make them as meaningful and memorable as possible for everyone involved.

We are saying see you later and best of luck in your future, to Thea Casey. Thea joined Chilliwack Uechi Ryu along with her brother and parents, at the age of 5. She grew up with Uechi Ryu along with many other recreational and educational pursuits. She is currently a Nidan. She has now graduated high school and her next endeavour is going to university in Italy! You have been a wonderful student for many years Thea. The best of luck to you in Italy, from all of us at Chilliwack Uechi Ryu.

Last class in the hall for the summer. Now to get together for some awesome outdoor classes. We will be back in the hall right after the Labour Day weekend in September.
