Best laid plans and all that.......
It's a beautiful day for bowling. Unfortunately the greens are still saturated from yesterday's storm and we have had to cancel today's open pairs sponsored by MacCoubrey Funeral Home. That's two years in a row.🤞for next year.

Where did the summer go? It's the last month of our outdoor season (but we'll tell you about winter short mat bowling soon) and we have four tournaments left. Two open tournaments and two club tournaments.
The MacCoubrey Funeral Home open pairs is usually our last tournament of the year but we have brought it forward by one week this year and it will be played on Thursday September 3rd. Thank you to MacCoubrey Funeral Home for sponsoring this tournament. They are one of our longest running sponsors.
The tournament was rained out last year. The last time it was played was in 2024 when Martin Foxhall and Rick Lyons won it. Martin will be playing on Thursday but not Rick.
Should be a great day with a lot of excellent bowlers playing
