We help people bridge the gap between Injury Rehabilitation, Improved Quality of life and Performance

09/08/2026

Balance and stability matter.

They can help reduce fall risk, improve movement quality, influence injury resilience and improve our ability to react in life and sport.

But here's something that's often overlooked:

When your brain doesn't feel stable, your body may try to create stability through tension and stiffness.

Think about what happens when you step onto an icy surface. You tense up.

If your body is constantly relying on this strategy, it can affect how freely and efficiently you move.

This is also why balance training needs to go beyond simply standing on one leg and staring at a fixed point.

Yes, staring at a spot may help you balance in that moment.

But life and sport don't give you a spot on the wall to stare at.

You trip. You step onto ice. Someone bumps you. You turn, reach, land or change direction unexpectedly.

At Motion in Sync, we progressively teach and challenge balance and stability — from simple controlled exercises to more dynamic, multidirectional and reactive situations.

The goal isn't to get better at a balance drill.

It's to develop balance and stability that you can actually use when you need it.

We aim to build a community of like-minded people.

Community is a huge part of what we do and what we want to achieve at Motion In Sync.

But ultimately, we are here to help people achieve positive results. And results take patience, effort and CONSISTENCY.

That’s why we work hard to create an environment where our members have the opportunity, accountability and hopefully the desire to show up consistently.

We aren’t doing anyone any favours by creating a system where showing up whenever you feel like it—and then disappearing for a while—is considered enough.

Consistency matters.

This approach may not be for everybody, and that’s okay. We’re building a community of people who understand that progress takes effort and who are willing to consistently work towards becoming the best version of themselves.

Show up. Put in the work. Keep moving forward.

FOUNDATION FIT | AGES 8–11

At this age, training should be fun — but that doesn’t mean it isn’t purposeful.

Through games, challenges and age-appropriate activities, we create situations that require kids to run, react, change direction, coordinate, balance, compete and problem-solve — all while learning what their bodies are capable of.

The goal is to start developing the physical qualities and movement skills that provide an important foundation for their next stages of development.

Lots of laughs. Lots of running. Plenty of huffing, puffing and sweating. And usually plenty of smiles when they leave.

Foundation Fit currently runs Fridays at 4:15 PM.

NEW: ADVANCED YOUTH SPORTS PERFORMANCE

Built for serious young athletes who want to get the most out of themselves and their sport.

We’ve developed this program based on what we’ve learned from our athletes, current research, and the gaps we see in supporting young athletes as they develop and compete.

The program is designed to help athletes:

• Navigate their return to performance after injury
• Develop greater resilience to injury
• Navigate growth and other developmental challenges
• Balance training with practices, games, travel and busy schedules
• Continue developing the physical qualities they need for their sport

They get individualized training, flexible scheduling, ongoing adjustments based on their needs and fatigue, and access to our training app for additional programming, guidance and communication.

Off-season. Pre-season. In-season.

Most importantly, we’re in their corner — supporting them, adapting with them and helping them keep moving toward their goals.

Enrollment is by application/approval to ensure the program is the right fit for each athlete.

Putting yourself first isn’t selfish.

For most people, the problem isn’t that they don’t care about their health.

It’s that everything else keeps getting put ahead of it.

Work. Family. Responsibilities. Other people’s needs. The never-ending list of things that need to get done.

And somewhere along the way, your own physical health, capability and wellbeing gets pushed further down the list.

But looking after yourself isn’t taking away from the people who matter to you.

It’s what allows you to keep showing up for them.

To have the strength and energy to do what needs to be done.
To stay active and capable as you get older.
To keep doing the things you enjoy.
To be physically prepared for whatever life asks of you.

Your health and physical capability deserve a place in your schedule — not just whatever time happens to be left over.

Schedule it. Protect that time. Make it a priority.

Because being at your best for everyone else starts with taking care of yourself.

Please share to with any coaches/organizations that may be interested!

We’re looking to partner with a sports team.

At Motion in Sync, we want to better understand what actually happens to athletes across the course of a competitive season.

How do physical capacities change? Where do we see improvements or declines? What happens with strength, power, movement and asymmetries? And how do these changes relate to injuries, availability and performance?

We’re looking for a sports team or organization interested in partnering with us on a season-long athlete profiling and monitoring project.

We’ll aim to assess athletes at three key points:

Pre/Early Season → Mid-Season → End of Season

There is no financial cost to the team.

In return for your athletes’ time, effort and commitment to the process, we’ll provide the testing, equipment, data collection and analysis.

Your coaches will also have access to feedback, results, guidance and practical recommendations that may help inform training and athlete management throughout the season.

For us, the goal is to collect meaningful real-world data that helps us continue improving how we prepare athletes, maintain physical capacities during the season, and develop better strategies around performance and injury-risk management.

We’re not looking for every team. We’re looking for the right team that is willing to commit to the process.

If you’re a coach, team manager or involved with a local sports organization and think your team may be a good fit, reach out to Motion in Sync and let’s have a conversation.

We all start from a different place — and we all have different goals.

At Motion in Sync, our goal is to help you move from where you are now towards the most capable version of yourself.

That might mean returning from injury, rebuilding confidence and physical capacity, getting stronger, improving how you move, or performing at a higher level.

And because everyone needs a different level of support and individualization, we offer a spectrum of options:

One-on-One | Semi-Private | Group Training

The right level of coaching for your current stage, your needs and your goals.

Start where you are. Build from there.
