Twin Tiger boxers last night, we just want to say how unbelievably proud we are of every single one of you who stepped into that ring last night—win or lose.

Those first fights were absolute bangers. The heart, determination, punches, combinations, and courage you all showed were incredible. You put in the time, work, and effort, and it showed.

To those who won: congratulations! Enjoy that win, you earned it. But remember, there is still lots to work on before the next one. We’ll keep building, learning, and getting better.

To those who didn’t get the win: hold your heads high. We are just as proud of you. You looked amazing, stood your ground, and showed everyone what you are capable of. Losing does not mean you failed—it means you had the courage to step up, learn, and grow. A huge percentage of boxers lose their first fight, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

For anyone whose bout was stopped, please remember it was done for your safety. The referee may have seen something we didn’t, and their job is always to protect the athletes. We know you love this sport and are willing to give it your all, but your health and safety will always come first.

Take a day or two if you need it. Rest, hydrate, eat well, and let your body recover if you are sore. Then come back into the gym later this week ready to train, because this is not the end—it is only the beginning.

There is so much more to learn, more experience to gain, and more fights ahead. We are hoping to do one or two more events this year as well, so stay tuned.

Keep your heads up, keep working hard, and keep believing in yourselves. We are so proud to be your coaches. 🥊🐯

Our Kids Vendor Market is happening today from 10 AM–2 PM! Come out and support local young entrepreneurs ages 6–15 as they set up tables both indoors and outdoors to sell the items they’ve worked hard to create.

You’ll find things like keychains, crystals, bracelets, candy and mystery bags, lemonade, iced coffee, popcorn, and more. Stop by and grab a refreshing drink.

It is cash only, so please come prepared. While you’re here, don’t forget to vote for your favourite Entrepreneur of the Day!

Thank you so much to every single person who came out, bought tickets, cheered, and supported all of these athletes. The energy in the room was amazing, and we are so grateful for our community. Thank you again to all our sponsors !

A huge thank you to all the fighters who travelled from all over Ontario to be part of today. You all brought heart, courage, and respect into that ring. The bouts were incredible!

Thank you to our supervisor—it was such a pleasure working with you today, and I truly can’t wait to do more events together. Thank you as well to every coach who spent the day in the corners supporting and guiding their athletes.

To all of our volunteers, thank you from the bottom of my heart. A very special thank you to Stephanie North—you absolutely saved my butt today, girl! You were my sidekick all day, and I truly do not think I could have pulled it off without you. Thank you for being there and helping with absolutely everything.

I am so proud of every boxer who stepped into that ring today. For many of you, it was your very first fight, and it was so incredible to watch the emotions, the hard work, the nerves, and the strength it took to hold it together—win or lose. You all did amazing and should be so proud of yourselves.

The last week or two has been stressful, but we did it. Sometimes life throws punches at you—literally—but we had an amazing team behind us. Thank you to all the guys who helped build the ring, take it down, and make this whole day happen.

Twin Tiger Boxing Academy Update 🥊

Tomorrow, Saturday, August 29, the gym will only be open from 5:00–7:00a.m. We have our big End of Summer Showdown event and need to start setting up at 8:00 a.m.

Sunday, we will still be open from 5:00am–8:45 a.m. for anyone with private lessons. After that, we will be setting up for our Kids Vendor Market at 9:00 a.m.

Our Kids Vendor Market runs Sunday from 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Come out and support these amazing young entrepreneurs!

And if you don’t have plans tomorrow, come join us at the Wasaga Beach RecPlex for our boxing event. Tickets will be available at the door, so there is no need to purchase ahead of time if you don’t want to.

Doors open at 3:00 p.m.
Bouts begin at 4:00 p.m.
