This past weekend, Hockey NL held its Annual General Meeting and Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. We are proud to see members of our league recognized for their outstanding contributions to the game of hockey.

Nick Aylward – Builder Category
Terry Hart – Media Category
We would also like to recognize Mike O’Brien (Southern Shore Breakers), who was presented with the Gerry Taylor Merit Award for his contributions to junior hockey.

In addition, Terry Hart was inducted in the Media Category. Terry has been a tremendous supporter of our league and its players, helping to promote senior hockey throughout the province. We sincerely thank him for his dedication and contributions over the years.

Congratulations to all of this year’s honourees on these well-deserved recognitions.

This evening, Dale Sullivan (Player) and Nick Aylward (Builder) were officially inducted into the Newfoundland and Labrador Hockey Hall of Fame.

The Breakers organization are incredibly grateful for the hard work, dedication, and commitment these gentlemen have shown over the years. Their contributions have helped shape hockey on the Southern Shore into what it is today.

Congratulations to both of you and your families on this outstanding and well deserved achievement!

Breakers James O’Brien and Conor McCarthy will have a shot at the 2026 Allan Cup tomorrow afternoon in CBS!

For the second year in a row, and the third time in four years your Clarenville Ford Caribous will be playing in the Allan Cup Championship game!

The Herd defeat the hometown CBS Blues 5-2 in tonight’s semifinal matchup. Both teams came out to play and Clarenville rode off a strong 3rd period to win.

Next up: A rematch with the Stoney Creek Tigers in the championship game tomorrow afternoon at 4:30pm.
