Elite Week 2026 is officially in the books 🥋 What a successful and rewarding training week for all of the students who showed up, worked hard, and persevered 💪🏼

The week was filled with hard work, determination, discipline, and perseverance as our students challenged themselves and pushed their limits. On Friday afternoon, campers enjoyed a special Japanese Katakana lesson and calligraphy workshop ✍🏼🇯🇵 They learned how to spell and write their names in Japanese, along with symbolic words connected to martial arts. A special congratulations to all of our students who earned an award during Elite Week 🏆 We are so proud of each and every student who participated and of the incredible effort, dedication, and perseverance they brought to their training 👏🏼

Artsy Week was a masterpiece 🎨🥋 Our campers trained hard every morning and then got creative in the afternoon with temporary tattoo body art, candy sushi, and an amazing tote bag painting workshop ✨

Tomorrow, we kick off Elite Week for our purple belt students and above 🥋🔥 It’s going to be an intense week of training, growth, and fun. Only a few spots are still available, so REGISTER NOW!!! 💪

Our campers had an incredible time exploring the wonders of nature and ended the week with a very special visit from Zoo To You 🐍🦎🐢 They had the opportunity to learn about all different kinds of animals and reptiles and got up close with some amazing creatures!

Our campers had an amazing time enjoying themed activities, creating reverse tie-dye masterpieces, taking part in our afternoon carnival, and welcoming back our special guest, WonderPhil, for an incredible magic show and hands-on magic workshop ✨🎩

Our campers had a great tournament Friday morning and had so much fun cheering each other on. 🥋🏆

A big thank you to JoJoFun - kids entertainment & wrangling for an awesome balloon twisting workshop yesterday afternoon. The campers had an absolute blast and loved showing off all of their creations. 🎈

11:20 p.m. and my day is officially done.

I left the house at 8:00 this morning so I could teach from 9:30 to 11:00, get my own training in, lift some weights, and then teach for the rest of the night..

Normally, the mats get their deep clean in the morning, but with our amazing summer camp taking over the dojo, that wasn’t happening today. So, after the last class ended at 9:40 tonight, out came the machine.

It’s been a day. A long one.

But as they say, love what you do and you’ll never work a day in your life.

Although I’m pretty sure today still counts as work. 😂🥋

11:20 p.m. The mats are clean. The dojo is ready for tomorrow.

Time to go home.
