Vancouver Whales U18 brought the pace to Penhold for the PHL February Showcase (Feb 13–15), finishing the weekend with a strong 2-1-1 record and plenty of momentum to build on.

The Whales opened with a statement in a 5–4 win over the Riggers HA U18, battling through a tight game and finding a way to close it out. They ran into a tough matchup against the Rocky View Wheat Kings U18, falling 7–3, but responded exactly the way you want to see—resetting quickly and delivering a composed 3–1 win over the Stars AAA U18.

The Whales ended their weekend with a 7–7 tie vs the North Legacy Warriors U18. Even with a shortened bench, the group kept competing, pushing the pace, and refusing to back down.

Final results (2-1-1):
• ✅ Whales 5–4 Riggers HA U18
• ❌ Whales 3–7 Rocky View Wheat Kings U18
• ✅ Whales 3–1 Stars AAA U18
• 🤝 Whales 7–7 North Legacy Warriors U18

DOMINANT. That’s the only word for it.

Your Vancouver Whales U15s put on a complete team performance Saturday night, shutting out the Langley Hornets 8–0 and out-shooting them 38–19. Eight different players found the scoresheet, with Ashton Gill leading the way with a 3-point night (1G, 2A), Micah Ngui potting a pair, and Mantaj Mushiana turning aside all 19 shots for the clean sheet between the pipes.

Our U15 ended 2025 with a hard fought showing at this years PHL Winter Meltown showcase in Leduc, Alberta!

After winning the semifinal 4-1 over Dynastars, our team lost to Riggers HA Black in the finals. We pulled out goalie with 50seconds left to tie up the game 2-2 but came up short in OT resulting in a 3-2 finish.

Proud of how our team played and look forward to the remainder of the season!
