The Fireman Throw starts by breaking balance before the throw. Timing, positioning, and leverage matter more than physical strength.
Don’t resist the force. Redirect it. Find the balance. Take control.
Yongho
Based on the traditional Korean martial art, a form of self-defense. Hapkido emphasizes circular motion, redirection of force, and control of the opponent.

When families tell us that our dojang feels like a second home, it truly means a lot to us. ❤️
Over the years, we’ve watched children grow, families stay with us, and new families become part of our Hapkido community. We’re truly grateful for every parent who has trusted us with their children and every student who walks through our doors ready to learn.
Thank you for recognizing the care, encouragement, respect, and individual attention our instructors work hard to provide every day.
To our longtime families and those who have recently joined us—thank you for being here and growing with us.
We’ll continue to hold on to the values that brought us this far, while always looking for ways to learn, improve, and do better.
Thank you for being part of our Yongho Hapkido family. ❤️🏆💙
Summer camp training is about more than learning new Hapkido skills. We train the body, build mental strength, and focus on becoming a little better every day.
There’s hard work, but also plenty of fun, laughter, and good summer memories. ☀️Every kick, every challenge, and every small improvement builds confidence. Strong body, strong mind, positive mindset—and ready to head back to school! 💪📚

*Bringing the spirit and philosophy of Hapkido to our community.
*Trusted by local parents for 13 years and counting.
Consistency is where progress begins. Big achievements are built through small actions, repeated again and again. This is just one Hapkido skill from our morning training—and only a small glimpse of what our campers work on each day.
Behind it are strength, coordination, agility, detailed instruction, individual attention, and plenty of repetition. Meaningful training, genuine effort, good intensity—and yes, lots of fun along the way. 💪
And after a solid morning on the mats? We all headed out for a movie together in the afternoon. 🍿🎬
Not a bad way to spend a summer day. ☀️🌻🍉
😎☀️🤗
Yay! The first two days of Yongho Hapkido Summer Camp week 1 are officially in the books! 🥳 Here’s a quick recap.
Our mornings have been packed with Hapkido training, strength, coordination, and plenty of fun games to keep everyone learning and moving. Whether they’re beginners or experienced students, every camper is challenged and encouraged at their own pace.
The afternoons have been just as exciting! We explored nature with Stephanie, our experienced naturalist educator, learning fascinating facts about insects, forests, and the world around us. We also practised mindfulness and enjoyed some friendly board game competition.
We’re only getting started! More adventures are coming next week, including martial arts weapons training, parkour, and more active games. Stay tuned for our Days 3 & 4 recap coming soon!
As promised—here are Days 3 & 4 of Yong Ho Hapkido Summer Camp! 🥋☀️
Our mornings continued with Hapkido skills, strength, coordination and agility training, with plenty of individual attention and fun games mixed in. Then came the afternoon fun!
Friday was all about the spray park, games, friends and discovering some amazing ocean animals. 💦🐠
We love seeing our campers work hard in the morning and simply enjoy being kids in the afternoon. Strong bodies, strong minds, confidence and focus—all built through martial arts, movement and play.
