FMA Single Stick Defence to Offence Series 3.
Continuing with the same theme in series 1.
Drill 1 leads us to a takedown which we track to the armbar, then engage evasion principles.
Drill 2 gets us use to shooting in with strikes, all designed to assist with the double leg takedown.

FMA Single Stick Defence to Offence Series 2.
We use the foundation of defensive attacks to offensive attacks from series 1.
Then in drill 1 we explore a variation to the disarm which is from a different family compared to series 1.
Drill 2 this particular disarm can transition into a lock as you capture and break the wrist.
Drill 2A gives you the option to employ a takedown.
Drill 3 we focus on disengagement and evasion while attacking.

FMA Single Stick Defence to Offence Series 1.
This warmup involves your personal ability to free flow with your weapon and body movement, purposefully.
Drill 1 develops specific defensive motions of hitting and checking.
Drill 2 develops your mentality to understand every motion, big or small has an attack characteristic attached to it, defence is offensive.
Drill 3 induces a strategic mindset so you can attack with purpose.
Secondly the weapon continuously attacks; therefore the disarm is a consequence of that.
Drill 4 is strictly a disarm variation to suit the angle of attack prior to the disarm.
Drill 5 develops retention as you flow through and ingrain drill 3 or 4,its your choice within the moment.
Drill 6 is entering in, hitting and evading.

FMA Single Stick Attacks, Disarms, Chokes.
We are always training a variety of techniques within the blending of ranges.
First and foremost we are always attacking the weapon limb and body structure.
Dealing with and working around energy is key.
The disarms are a consequence of attacking as the opportunity presents its self.
The choking is a consequence of attacking and entering into the close quarter range to smother the blunt weapon and crush the airway.
The punion sumbrata flow drill develops attacking with the butt end of your weapon and the skills that accompany you using the different areas (4) of your weapon, which is also range appropriate.

FMA Single Knife Blade Recognition.
I was given these training blades (Thanks Bruce), so we checked them out with a few training methods.
They provide a sound and light function, so your senses of hearing and vision give you a different form of feed back information for blade recognition on the contact of cuts.
