Today was a double celebration as Mundy parkrun reached Event #300 and the global parkrun family celebrates 22 incredible years of parkrun! 🥳🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

What a way to mark the occasion! This morning 116 runners, joggers and walkers joined us around the course, including 16 first-timers experiencing the parkrun magic for the very first time, while an amazing 28 participants recorded new PBs! 🔥👏

A huge thank you goes to our awesome volunteer team who made Event 300 possible: 💙 Christopher Gleimius

🏃 18,426 parkruns completed
📏 92,130 km covered (that's more than twice around the Earth!)
⚡ 2,771 PBs achieved

These numbers tell a story, but the real achievement is the welcoming, supportive community we've built together every Saturday morning.

🏃‍♀️🌟 Mundy parkrun #299 was a blast! 🌟🏃‍♂️

What a beautiful morning at Mundy! (With a little rain thrown in to remind us we're in BC). This week, 94 runners, joggers and walkers joined us on the course, including 17 first timers who discovered the parkrun magic for the first time. Welcome to the family! 👋💙

A huge congratulations to the 17 participants who smashed their Personal Bests today. 💥🎉 Clearly the cool September air was helping those speedy legs!

We were also delighted to welcome representatives from 3 different clubs, adding to the fantastic community spirit that makes Mundy parkrun so special.

Of course, none of this would be possible without our amazing volunteers. A massive thank you to: 👏 Joe Mick 👏 Debbie Mick 👏 Robert Adamoski 👏 Evelina Bledig 👏 Heather Barrett 👏 Monica Norena 👏 Alysha Martins 👏 Cathy Morton 👏 Malcolm Dunn
