Wow. What a weekend, what a season! Our 2025/26 season drew to a close this weekend with the Golden Ski Event and BBQ. The perfect way to end the season. We sure had our share of highs and lows this season, but our athletes never stopped coming out and giving it their all whatever the conditions. Thanks to our coaches, volunteers, sponsors and athletes for a season to remember. See you next season!

This past weekend eight MWFC athletes had a once in a lifetime experience at the BC Winter Games at Red Mountain. The team had a great time, skied well and made great memories. Huge thanks to Head Coach and Coach .trotterr for supporting our athletes at the comp.

This weekend we were super fortunate to welcome to coach a special Girlstylerz clinic along with Head Coach We had a great turnout from our female athletes of all ages. Thank you Laura and Sarah!

A huge weekend for Mount Washington Freestyle with Timber Tour/Shred Series comps taking place at Whistler, an IFSA Freeride qualifier at Panorama and a weekend of braving the elements at home on the Island. We had the province covered! Congratulations to all our athletes who competed this weekend, and to those that didn’t let a little rain slow them down.

We are super stoked to announce that Sarah Rocque is the new head coach of the Mt. Washington Freestyle Ski Club. Sarah takes over from Peter Stubbs who has moved into the Program Director role. Sarah joined the club as a high performance athlete in 2014, and then moved into coaching in 2018. Sarah is a dedicated coach, mentor and all round wicked skier. Congrats Sarah!
