🚨 IMPORTANT EVENT INFO (long post)

*ANTICIPATE THE RACE TO BE WETSUIT MANDATORY.

RACE DAY: Saturday, June 6, 2026

Where: Alice Lake, South Beach (by dock)
Late Package Pick-up @ Alice Lake South Beach: 7:30 am to 8:30 am

7:15 am Shuttles start loading at Don Ross Middle School (42091 Ross Rd, Brackendale, BC)

7:30 am Transition area opens to athletes. Park gate opens at 7:00 AM for those getting dropped off. Late package pick up opens at registration table (by finish line).

7:30 am to 9:00 am Body Marking and timing chip pick up.

8:15 am Tri BC officials take a water temperature test. Wetsuit ruling announced 1 hour before race time.

8:45 am Racer meeting/announcement in transition area with swim update

9:10 am Transition Closed. Bags must be removed from transition. There will be a designated area by the fencing on the lakeside. Do no leave bags against the forest side as you will not have access until transition opens.

9:10 am Athletes meeting and final race instructions at beach below the announcer booth.

9:10 to 9:20 am Swim warm-up

9:25 am All swimmers to Alice Lake South Beach swim start area

9:30 am START TIME - Championship distance & Relay swim wave start

9:35 am START TIME - Sport distance swim wave start

11:00 am onward - Race BBQ available (for Racers & Volunteers only).

PLEASE NOTE: NO DOGS are allowed in the picnic areas and beach area of Alice Lake Provincial Park.

12:30 pm (approx) Awards Ceremony will take place at Alice Lake South Beach as soon as race results are available.

Important reminder that the Transition Clinic with local legend Christy Drever is happening tonight - June 1st - at 6:00 pm at the South end of Alice Lake.
