For the first time ever, the Dartmouth Lakers are excited to offer a Coed Summer Hoops Session for:
✅ U10 players moving up to U12
✅ Any player who played U12 this past season

📍 East Dartmouth Community Centre
🕐 Sundays from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM

📅 8 Sessions:
• July 5, 12, 19
• August 2, 9, 16, 23, 30

💲 Cost: $100 per player

Players of ALL skill levels are welcome! Sessions will focus on skill development, with players grouped alongside others of similar skill levels to help everyone learn, improve, and have fun throughout the summer. 🏀🔥

For the second year in a row, Eric, Elizabet, and Sarah were proud to be part of the Boys & Girls Club Equipment Giveaway, handing out Gatorades and meeting so many future basketball stars along the way! There was even a video crew there capturing all the fun! 🎥✨

We’re so grateful to be part of a community that continues to support and inspire young athletes. Can’t wait for next year!

The Dartmouth Lakers U10 & U12 – Coach MacEachern teams had an amazing time last Saturday after being gifted tickets to see the Halifax Hoopers in action.

It was a fantastic bonding experience for the players and a well-deserved treat after all their hard work this season. Moments like these are what team sports are all about!

What an incredible afternoon we shared on Sunday at our Dartmouth Lakers Awards Banquet! With a fantastic turnout, it was the perfect way to celebrate an amazing season.

We were proud to recognize our dedicated coaches and shine a spotlight on some of our outstanding athletes for their hard work, growth, and achievements throughout the year. 👏

A huge thank you to everyone—players, families, coaches, and volunteers—who helped make this season such a success for our kids. Your support and commitment are what make the Lakers community so special.

Congratulations to our Dartmouth Lakers teams on an amazing weekend at the City of Lakes Tournament!

A big shoutout to our U12 - Coach Diab and U14 - Coach Johnson teams for hosting a fantastic event at the Sportsplex, welcoming 3 U12 and 3 U14 teams for a great weekend of basketball.

Both teams competed hard all weekend—U12 Diab captured 🥇 Gold, and U14 Johnson put together a strong performance to earn 🥉 Bronze!

We’re proud of the effort, teamwork, and sportsmanship shown across the board. Great job to everyone involved in making this tournament such a success!

Last week, some of our Lakers players attended the Dave Love Shooting Clinic. From refining their mechanics to building confidence and consistency, the players gained valuable skills they can bring back to the court.

We love seeing our athletes take initiative to grow their game and continue developing both on and off the court. The future is bright for the Lakers! 💙💛

⚠️ Please note: This league is not recommended for beginner players, as there are no practices or skill development sessions.

📅 Season Details:
• 1 game per week for 8 weeks (May & June)
• Rotating schedule between Wednesday & Friday nights
• Round robin format followed by playoffs
🎽 What’s Included:
• Jersey (with purchase if needed)
• Player of the Game awards
• Medals for participants
