Today, the Red Team turned GREEN!

Thanks to our teammate Michelle Russell, members of Canada’s National Canoe Kayak Team joined us at Abenaki to spend the day with our Green Team. Together, they paddled C15s, rode in motorboats, shared one-on-one coaching, and even wrapped up the afternoon with a few cannonballs in the swim area.

The memories made today go far beyond the water. Our athletes had the chance to connect with some of Canada’s best not just as elite paddlers, but as mentors, teammates, and people who generously shared their time, encouragement, and love of the sport.

These are the moments that remind us what inclusion looks like: learning from one another, celebrating each other’s strengths, and creating experiences where everyone belongs.

To Michelle, Team Canada, and everyone who made today possible THANK YOU. Your kindness, energy, and generosity made an incredible impact, and our athletes will be talking about this day for a long time to come. 💚🇨🇦
