Every year at our camp we present the character award to 3 players who exemplify leadership, hard work, passion and respect! Congrats to Sibyl, Sydney and Abi for receiving the character award for their group!

We had a great time connecting with the athletes and coaches at Peak Performance Female Hockey Hockey Training Camp! 🏒

Our very own, Dr. Ashley Lilly, had the opportunity to chat about one of the most important, and often overlooked, aspects of athletic performance: RECOVERY.

We covered practical, evidence-based strategies to help athletes recover better and perform at their BEST, including:

💧 Hydration
🥗 Nutrition
🎾 Myofascial release techniques

Small & consistent habits can make a huge difference both on and off the ice throughout the season (and in every day life!)

Full circle moment:

Four years ago I met Alice through my cousin who was her student teacher at the time. My cousin told her I played pro hockey and Alice wrote me a letter…I could tell right away how much she loved hockey! That summer, she became one of the first players I ever worked with.

Since then, she’s put in countless hours of extra skates, extra reps, always wanting to learn and get better. She’s always the first one on the ice and the last one off!

Fast forward four years… and she’s now been named Top Defence at U15 AAA Provincials.

I’m so proud of the player she’s become, but even more proud of the person she is - her mindset and work ethic set her a part.

Alice is the definition of what can happen when you truly love the game and commit to it.

The sky is the limit!!
