The struggle is real!

Not into the 25 and 50km options? You’re in luck! New 5 and 10km distances this year! This is such an awesome race - you don’t want to miss out!

Well peeps, long time no update! The crew over at RaceRMNP, that brings you some fantastic adventures, has been busy during these Covid times and before assisting the Dauphin Derailleurs Cycle Club with the creation of the new Northgate Trails Dauphin network. The new 26km’s of trail along with 5 micro cabins available for rent, washroom and shower building, and picnic shelter all link up with the trails on the North side of RMNP and we are excited about the race potential in the future that this new network will allow for!!

However, what everyone wants to know is what about the possibility of gathering for Epic East Gate in 2021??? Well, we have been holding out to see how things will progress but as a spring event it’s just no longer realistic to view that as a possibility. We do however want to encourage people to get out on trails this summer, any trail really, but specifically the trails at the East and North Gate of RMNP. We will be launching registration by April 1st for our virtual 25km and 50 km distances and, new for 2021, we will also be taking registrations for a virtual 5km and 10km option. We will provide suggested routes out at the brand new Northgate system for the 5km and 10km distances along with the established 25km and 50km distances. All distances will be open to be completed until well into the fall.

By going virtual, our fully volunteer organization that gives 100% of its time and profits back to active living initiatives will be able to pass on some substantive savings that comes with not having to set up and support an in-person race. Stay tuned for cost effective pricing, multiple swag items, new trail network options and new distances to choose from!
