Everyone is welcome!

This hands-on clinic is suited to all experience levels. We’ve welcomed first-timers, farriers and veterinarians. Topics include:

▪️ Conformation and bone structure
▪️ Assessing travel and hoof flight
▪️ Recognizing lameness issues
▪️ Identifying an unbalanced hoof
▪️ Under-run heels and long toes
▪️ Correct hoof angles
▪️ Trimming the hoof to create balance for the individual horse
▪️ Learning to shoe
▪️ Corrective shoeing
▪️ Measuring tools—how to use them and why they matter

Join us for Demo Day to learn more about what your farrier is doing and why. Gain a better understanding of a balanced hoof and how hoof balance affects your horse’s movement, comfort and overall soundness.

🐎 DEMO HORSES NEEDED!

We’re looking for horses with:

▪️ Lameness
▪️ Crooked legs or conformation challenges
▪️ Navicular issues
▪️ Founder
▪️ Ringbone

Please send me a private message if you have a horse that may be suitable. Current X-rays may be required for some cases. Preference will be given to horses belonging to clinic participants, but all suitable horses will be considered.

I’m keeping this clinic SMALL so every kid gets lots of individual attention and riding time!

We’ll be working on:

• Horsemanship and building a better connection with your horse
• Controlling your horse’s body parts
• Barrel & Pole work — including taking seconds off your time
• Keeping your horse’s feet moving correctly
• Building confidence on and off the pattern
• Keeping your horse in a positive mindset
• Keeping YOU in a positive mindset too!!!

This isn’t just about running barrels and poles — it’s about learning how to ride your horse correctly, understand what their body is doing, and build the skills that will make you a better team.

Looking for an unforgettable summer experience for your horse-loving kiddo? Join us at Laz-e-P Equine Centre for three fun-filled days of learning, confidence building, and making lifelong horse memories!

Each day includes a horsemanship lesson in the saddle, along with hands-on activities designed to help young riders become safe, knowledgeable, and confident horsemen and horsewomen.

Your child will learn:

🐎 Parts of the horse, saddle, and bridle 🐎 Ground handling and lunging
