Shinkyu Dojo Kyokushin Karate

It was a busy day for our dojo today!
On one side of the world, our Senpai Dryden won the Heavy-weight division in Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 at the So-Kyokushin United Kingdom National Tournament
And of the other side of the globe our head instructor Senpai Rachelle was expanding her knowledge and helping preserve the original methods of Kyokushin Karate by attending a Seminar and Training with one of Sosai Mas Oyama’s Uchi-Deshi and lead instructor for many years at Tokyo’s Honbu Dojo, Legendary Shihan Satoshi Yui! Looking forward to bringing back all that was learned to Western Canada to help grow the next generation of Kyokushin practitioners!

Two big events for our instructors are underway this weekend!
As we get ready to start our upcoming season this year, we have two of our instructors out expanding their knowledge and testing their might around the globe.
One major event is in Washington DC 🇺🇸 where our head instructor will be learning from the legendary Shihan Satoshi Yui. She is looking forward to bringing back knowledge and keeping the teachings of Sosai Mas Oyama alive and thriving in Western Northern Canada 🇨🇦 . Our other instructor is in Barry, Wales, Uk 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🇬🇧testing his might at their National Tournament!
