Some important dates for members.

Tuesday September 22.
The green's staff will be attempting to aerate all 10 greens next Tuesday in preparation for the winter snow and ice. This is a labour intensive process that will take the full day and may run into Wednesday morning. The plan will be to have the course back for play by noon on Wednesday. Aeration requires sunny & dry weather so please watch the tee sheet in case the maintenance plans shift.

The Week of September 28 - Member Guest
During the last week of September and up to Oct 2nd, any adult member is welcome to bring a friend or family member for a free round of golf. There will be no limit on how many bookings you make, but if you can possibly reserve "earlier in the day" tee times that will help keep the course available for working members who are racing the daylight hours. Additionally, please be mindful of the pace of play when hosting guests who may not play regular rounds of golf.

Mixed Closing - This coming Sunday September 20
Our captains have put considerable effort into making this an extremely fun event for everyone. Those who played last year talked about it for days. Please drop into the Proshop and sign up. The weather looks great and so does the menu!

The 97th Gordon Cup was held this weekend (Sept 12-13) at the Pembroke Golf Club. We were blessed with two great days of weather. Pembroke Golf Club won the Cup, with Mississippi in 2nd place, Renfrew 3rd, Deep River 4th and Sandpoint 5th.
Team Deep River was represented by:

🏆 THE CUP IS HOME! 🏆

For just the second time ever — and the first time since 2015 — DRGC has won the Quattrocchi Cup!

And we did it on home turf. ⛳

Junior Reminder - with the Senior team playing in the Blakley Cup Tournament in Pembroke this week, there will be NO Lessons this Wednesday for the regular junior program. Lessons will resume next Wednesday August 19. Good luck to the Blakley team players.

With great weekend weather and immaculate course conditions, two past champions once again took home the trophies in the 2026 Deep River Golf Club Championship Tournament. After two solid rounds, Pam Yakabuskie claimed her 11th Club title in the Women’s division. In a sudden-death playoff with fellow competitor Ken Titterington, Mike Hogue tapped in a birdie putt on 18 to capture his 9th win, claiming both regular and senior men’s titles. Congratulating Mike and Pam is Club Professional, Drew Calver (center).
