Established in 2025 near Delisle, SK, Diamond View Ranch is owned and operated by UofS Rodeo Team member Carlie Borle and is home to Bar CB Performance horses, where she is passionate about developing well rounded horses and supporting the sport she loves.

Located South of Minton, SK, Jim Creek Ranch is operated by Randy and Loran Tessier & family. Since 1984, the family has built their ranching operation around raising 400 head of commercial cattle.

Our athletes aren’t the only ones gearing up for another season of college rodeo! Next up, meet the four legged partner behind teammate Kiersten Kalmakoff, Daisy!

🌼 Daisy - Catmans Shiny Girl 🌼
Daisy is a 9 year old mare who came into Kiersten’s life as a 3 year old during COVID. The original plan was to continue her reining career, but Daisy had other ideas in mind! Kiersten started her on the barrels at 4, and by 5 the pair were hitting the rodeo trail together.

Since then, Daisy has carried Kiersten to countless accomplishments, both big and small, and has become a pretty special part of her rodeo story. Whether you call her Daisy Lou, Daisy Baby, or Barbie Horse, she’ll answer to them all!

She’s your typical cranky boss mare with a big heart, loves to run, and looks beautiful doing it. When she’s not grazing the pasture, you can usually find her travelling down the rodeo trail alongside her boyfriend Stormy❤️🤩

No matter where the sport takes these two, Daisy will always hold a very special place in Kiersten’s heart.

After all, our athletes might get their names on the draw… but they couldn’t do it without the other half of the team🐎🖤💛

Meet JCK Livestock, a Central Alberta operation with roots planted firmly in both the livestock and rodeo communities!

Established in 2006, JCK Livestock runs a herd of performance horses with a focus on ranching and rodeo, alongside a commercial Simmental-cross cattle operation. With rodeo being such a big part of what they do, supporting the next generation of competitors is something that hits close to home.

For JCK Livestock, supporting the UofS Rodeo Team is about supporting the opportunities college rodeo creates for student athletes. It gives students the chance to continue competing while pursuing their education, all while building connections and continuing to develop their skills inside and outside the arena.
