SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT our Dojo ICKF Karate School is now also a member of WUKF Canada. The WUKF World Union of Karate-Do Federations operate World and Continental Championships using the traditional Japanese Shobu Sanbon and Shobu Ippon rules. This will provide our students with the opportunity to compete with these classical rules as well as the WKF rules that our students enjoy through Karate Ontario and Karate Canada. I would like to sincerely thank Laurian Lepadatu Sensei and President of WUKF Canada, Sensei Alexandru Sorin and Sensei Dominic Lizotte for welcoming myself and my Dojo ICKF Karate School into the WUKF Canada Family! Our Dojo ICKF Karate School is the first Ontario Dojo to affiliate with the WUKF Canada and we look forward to working towards National and International Championships using the traditional Japanese style Kumite rules.

Our students will now have access to three competitive formats WKF through Karate Ontario and Karate Canada, WUKF through WUKF Canada as well as Traditional Bogu Karate Competitions.

It is my goal as a Sensei to provide as many looks and opportunities to my students in all areas of traditional as well as competitive karate.

Thank you again to Sensei Laurian, Sensei Sorin and Sensei Dominic for your very warm welcome!

The future looks bright!
Sensei Ed

At just 9 years old, stepping onto the world stage is a huge accomplishment in itself. She showed incredible courage, focus, and confidence out there!
She fought two amazing matches on the tatami:
🥊 First fight: A fantastic victory against Romania! 🇷🇴
🥊 Second fight: A tough, well-fought match against Ukraine, where she learned so much. 🇺🇦
Win or learn, every moment on the mat helps us grow stronger and get better every day. Sports like karate build so much more than physical skills—they build heart, resilience, and a true "Yes, I can!" mindset.
So proud of this journey and wish everyone the very best of luck in the upcoming competitions! Onward and upward! 💪🔥
