Fight #3 in 3 days for Max in Martinique
His opponent originally from Cuba, had over 50 fights in Cuba and has since had over 25 fights in St-Lucia since he left Cuba 3-4 years ago.
The fight was a close one where the fighters both exchanged their share of punches.
At the end of the fight , a split decision that could have gone either way went to Max’s opponent.
Max represented Seconds Out Boxing club like no other could.
Job well done !

Fight #2 in 2 days for Max in Martinique
His opponent born in Georgia and now living in France was light on the day of the fight.
Their camp requested that we lose 2 pounds to make things more even as far as weights are concerned.
Max wore the sauna suit and 30 mins later after skipping and pads lost 1 pound. It was 10 am and they requested we do more , which we reluctantly complied since we didn’t want the fight to. E cancelled. Another 10 mins lost half a pound.
Fight was scheduled.
They tried changing the fight schedule for us to be first first of the afternoon. We negotiated 3rd fight instead.
Went to east and returned where fights were pushed back to start at 2pm.

The kid from France was good , better than we thought.
Max opened the guns in rounds 2 and 3 to win a unanimous decision .

Guyana was strong and better than we expected.
Max wins a unanimous decision against a game and stony opponent!

Max’s first international boxing experience … a couple of fights lined up for the weekend tournament in Martinique !
