Since 1997, this tournament has raised close to $100,000 in bursaries for local graduating students. That's Jason's legacy. That's what this is all about.

The Opening Ceremony for the 2026 Jason Simmons Memorial Hockey Tournament starts soon at the Miners Forum.
Since 1997, this tournament has brought the Cape Breton community together every Easter weekend and raised close to $100,000 in bursaries for local graduating students.
