** Free Wellness Clinics Coming to Communities Across Haliburton County **
đź’ˇHaliburton Highlands Health Services, the Haliburton County Community Paramedics, and the County of Haliburton Seniors Active Living Centre (SALC) program along with numerous partners are offering a series of free Wellness Clinics taking place in communities across Haliburton County.
đź’ˇThese friendly, drop-in events will bring healthcare-related and community support partners together in accessible local settings, making it easier for residents to find helpful healthcare-related information, services, and connections in one convenient place.
đź’ˇOn-site services could include: blood pressure checks; flu vaccinations; point-of-care glucose testing; inhaler education; connection to community supports; medication reviews. Please note that services may vary by location. A primary care provider will not be on site.
đź’ˇFree local event transportation will also be available for community members who book in advance. Please call 705-286-1333 x. 243 to inquire/book in advance. Light refreshments and snacks will be available on-site.
đź’ˇResidents are encouraged to drop in to the clinic that is most convenient for them.
