Quad Squad #YGK

Tonight we are headed to the Prince Edward Community Centre to help out with the free skate night hosted by County of Prince Edward county.

Have your own blades or skates? Entry is free!
Need to rent skates? We have you covered at $5 a pair with sizes ranging from 4-14!

We highly recommend new skaters come with helmets and gear.

Can’t make this one? We are doing it all again on August 22nd!

Maria from Maria Serrano will also be joining us and we hope to see some other familiar faces out 😊🛼

(P.S. we heard the disappoint on the original AI poster and established we were able to make our own.)

We are back at the Odessa Fairgrounds this evening 6:30-7:30 and every Wednesday until August 26th.

If you’ve got skates or rollerblades come join us for a golden hour skate! This is a great time to work on skills, learn new tricks, get tips and just socialize with others in our skate community.

We are requesting folks pitch in whatever they can to go towards the rental (it costs $43 for the hour), but we also won’t turn folks away if they can’t contribute.

It’s a beautiful day and we hope to see folks out!

Quad Squad is headed back to the county for a couple more skate sessions this summer!

These two are in partnership with County of Prince Edward and will be held at the Prince Edward Community Centre. Join us July 25th and August 22nd from 6-8pm. There is no entry fee and skates will be available courtesy of us for $5.

We hope to see some familiar faces out!

We had so much fun last week we decided to make this a summer long thing! Starting tomorrow and running until August 25th we will be at the Odessa Rink 6:30-7:30.

If you have skates come out and join us! We are just asking for a small donation to go towards booking the space.

We’re taking it back to Parsons Brewing Company tomorrow night from 6-8 pm!

Join us and your host Maria from Maria Serrano as we get our skate groove on at one of Prince Edward County’s most popular destinations. We will be supplying skate rentals which can be prebooked through the ticket link (before noon tomorrow) and we will also have a few extras available for last minute rentals (sizes not guaranteed though).

Come for a skate, stay for a locally crafted beer and enjoy the vibes 🛼☀️🍺

Summer is officially days away and we wanted to take a moment to update folks on what our skate sessions will look like over the next couple months.

We will be taking a break from running indoor open skates, discos and classes for the months of July, August and early September. Over the summer months we will be pivoting to free weekly outdoor meet ups, skill sharing and hopefully a road trip or two later in the summer. We are also taking our rental skates on the road for some out of town events.

We’ve had many folks ask so also want to go ahead and let people know - yes there is going to be another learn to skate! Brooke will be offering small group workshop type lessons over the summer months and we will be offering a 6 week learn to skate class series in September. We will also be offering a 6 week kids program starting in September too! Keep your eyes on our socials for more details about those.

Looking forward to a season of sun, fun and skating with friends! ✌️🛼☀️

Lacey has helped so many of our skaters help build those skating muscles and now she could use a little help from her community.

Our hearts are full of so much gratitude for all the folks who came out and rolled with us for our second annual Pride Roller Disco last Saturday! Thank you so much to everyone who came out and helped us make this night a success!

We had over 100 skaters join us for the evening and were able to raise over $300 for Kingston Roller Derby to go towards their league operating costs 🙌

There are so many elements that go into running these events and we are so full of appreciation to everyone who shows up to make these events possible. Big shout out to Mean Bean 🇨🇦 | Beginner Rollerskater and Talk Show Host for taking video, Kat | Face Painter & Glitter Tattooist for providing their fabulous face painting talents, Azalea tokonitz and Amygdala for putting on some amazing drag performances on skates, Kingston Roller Derby for providing us with volunteers and running the rentals and canteen, Maria Serrano for leading the group dancing, Brooke Gilmour for doing ticket sales all night, Chris for taking these amazing photos and DJ Tigerstylez for providing the great selection of music!

Photos from the event are now linked in our bio.

We love seeing this community grow and are already looking forward to running this event again next year!
