The Pacific Northwest independent wrestling community is mourning the loss of a true local legend. The Great Kasaki (often known simply as Kasaki), a foundational staple of the British Columbia wrestling scene, passed away on June 3, 2026.

The heartbreaking news was shared by Thrash Wrestling on social media, where they paid tribute not only to his memorable in-ring career but also to his immense impact outside the ropes as a mentor to generations of Western Canadian talent.

Whether you caught him tearing it up for All Star Wrestling (ASW), commanding the ring in Thrash Wrestling, or helping shape the future of BC indie wrestling behind the scenes, Kasaki left an undeniable mark on the business and the fans who cheered him on.

Our deepest thoughts go out to his family, friends, and the entire Pacific Northwest wrestling community.

Congratulations to our friend The Wrestling Classic ! Very happy to see YouTube acknowledging him. Justin has been working his a$$ off to support wrestlers for years and this is well deserved.

When I started my channel back in 2015/2016, I had high hopes. Then I had a really hard time trying to get my followers here to follow me anywhere else but on here but on here.

I also battled for years to just be comfortable putting myself on camera. A hurdle a lot of us creators had to go through that isn’t talked about a lot.

Then I started the TWC Show in 2019 I had high hopes. Its been a mission to keep it alive from doing it in studio, to virtually to finally recording the last year mainly with at his spot.

I started doing interviews in 2015 with the first one being with . It wasn’t until 2020 when we were all locked down that I decided to start doing them more. I’ll also never forget giving me the opportunity to start a podcast with him right before he passed away. After his passing and losing my page for five and half months, I took a step back.

Then I came back. I continued TWC Show throughout that period but didn’t decide to do interviews again. I literally based if I would if said she was down when I asked her. Thankfully she said yes.

From there I was dropping two interviews a month. Then starting in 2025 I decided it had to be one interview a week. Sometimes it would be twice a week if there were events we had to promote.

That being said, half the battle is getting interviews so I want to really thank , , , , , , , , , all the talent managers and agents. Also all the pro wrestlers whether they were coming up on the indies, current stars or legends who gave me their time.

I’d like to thank all the creators, actors, broadcasters and influencers that came on the show and gave me their time.

I want to THANK all my co-hosts who helped keep the TWC Show alive. Many of you have thanked me for giving you an opportunity or helping you find your confidence in this space but I appreciate you for keeping me going.

Of course everyone who has followed me on IG, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok and even X. I’m nothing and nobody without you all. This is for all of us Misfits. 🖤
