Do you have quality backpacking gear sitting in a closet or garage that isn't getting the adventures it deserves? EPBR would love to put it back on the trail! 🌲

We’re looking for donations of gently used outdoor gear to help expand our Nature Education programming and give local youth more opportunities to learn outdoor and backcountry skills.

We’re currently looking for:

🎒 Hiking backpacking packs
💤 Lightweight backpacking sleeping bags
🏕️ Lightweight backpacking tents
🌙 Sleeping pads

On Saturday, October 3, Amrize is inviting the community to the Berrymoor Aggregates Site for a special Northern Saw-whet Owl Banding & Public Open House!

🌲 Tour one of the area’s largest sand and gravel operations
🦉 Enjoy family-friendly activities focused on owls and local wildlife
🍔 Free BBQ beginning at 5:00 PM
🔬 After sunset, a biologist will be on site to capture and band Northern Saw-whet Owls, offering an incredible opportunity to see these tiny raptors up close and learn more about them.

Did You Know? Our Nature Education Programs are FREE!

Thanks to the incredible support of our community sponsors, EPBR Nature Education programs are offered free to schools and non-profit organizations. 💚

Programs cover everything from environmental science and local heritage to outdoor recreation and stewardship, with options for preschoolers right through junior high, as well as seniors and community groups.

Removing the cost barrier means teachers and community organizations can give more of these experiences, and our sponsors help make that possible.
