Provincial Learning Event Webinar: What’s not “right” about my age? Strategies for resistance and change - BC Association of Community Response Networks
Addressing self ageism is an important part of elder abuse prevention because cultural assumptions about aging shape how vulnerability is interpreted, whether concerns are taken seriously, and how neighbours, friends, and family members respond when an older person may need support or protection.

I heard the BBQ (Soups ON and more) today was a fabulous success. Nathan from Cowichan Green Community barbequed the hamburgers (buns, cheese and special sauce) donated by . MIKES DUNCAN. Rudy the incredible chef who makes the soups each month, provided the potato salad and two anonymous donors made sure all additional supplies were provided. Thanks to everyone who attended and was involved in hosting at the CGC Garden HUB. Hope to see you there next time!
