2027 Memberships at Duntroon Highlands Golf go on sale September 15, featuring updates designed to elevate the member experience.

To ensure better course access and more playing time, total membership numbers are being capped for the upcoming season. Current 2026 members in good standing receive priority access to purchase starting September 15 at 9:00 AM until September 25 at 5:00 PM. Any remaining memberships will open to the public on September 26 at 9:00 AM.

Membership updates for 2027 include:
✅ Daily driving range and practice area access included for all members
✅ Two-week advance booking privileges retained for all members
✅ Course enhancement projects including a re-imagined 10th hole, expanded tee decks, improved cart paths, and at least 10 new power carts

For non-members or those seeking flexible play options, the new 4x7 Flex Pack launches September 15. Designed with league players in mind, options are available in 9-hole ($650) and 18-hole ($880) packages with valid play Monday through Thursday anytime, or Friday through Sunday after 4:00 PM. Current 7-Day Flex Packs remain available until September 14 at 11:00 PM, and all unused rounds carry over into 2027.

HEADED TO CABOT CAPE BRETON

Another Duntroon Highlands team is heading to the PGA Scramble National Championships this October at Cabot Cape Breton in Nova Scotia.
On Monday, CAGA league members Jesse Doughty, Blake Wilson, Jace Metheral, and Jeremy McEachern battled fog and rain to win the Net Division. The team finished with a gross score of 12-under and a net score of 20.2.
After a slow start, momentum turned around the fifth hole with two eagles on the par 5s. Needing a birdie on the final hole to claim victory, the team delivered under pressure, winning by 0.8 strokes to secure one of only two qualifying spots.

We wish them the best of luck at Cabot.

The Ultimate South Georgian Bay Food Trail Experience

Stunning fall views, local culinary creations, and an unforgettable afternoon on the trail. Join us at Duntroon Highlands for the Food Trail Experience on Saturday, September 19 in support of Kenneth’s Walk and the Team GIVE’R Foundation.

Take a guided 2.5 km trek along our high-elevation trails as peak autumn colors paint the Niagara Escarpment. Along the way, discover 7 distinct sampling stations featuring delicious culinary creations paired with local craft beverages, plus fun games and activities at every stop.

Event Details:
Date: Saturday, September 19, 2026
Start: 12:00 PM (Kicked off by a traditional bagpiper)
Location: Duntroon Highlands
The Hike: 2.5 km guided walk in small groups (20–25 people), moving to a new tasting station every 35 minutes

After the Trail: Stay for the Apres starting at 4:30 PM with live appreciation talks from Team GIVE’R Foundation grant recipients, plus premier auction and raffle prizes closing at 5:15 PM.

Every ticket directly empowers the Team GIVE’R Foundation in honor of Kenneth McAlpine funding scholarships and access for aspiring chefs and young skiers across our community.

Tickets are limited to keep group sizes intimate.

Club Championship Results

The forecast looked ominous heading into the Club Championships weekend, but Mother Nature held off, providing steady conditions for Saturday’s opening round. After Day 1, Tim Talbot and Harrison Vogren led the men’s side, while Carol Hughes held the lead in the Women’s A Flight.

Sunday brought very cool, blustery weather, creating exceptionally difficult scoring conditions across the entire course. In the Women’s A Flight, the competition came down to the final hole to decide the winner, with Liz Payton securing the victory by a single stroke to earn her first Club Championship title. On the men’s side, 2024 champion Brian Oliver managed the challenging wind with steady play, finishing with a combined score of 160 to reclaim the title. Both champions earned reserved parking spots at the Clubhouse for the upcoming year.

Flight and division winners included:
Women’s B-Flight: Deb Green
Men’s B-Flight: Lloyd Exton
Men’s C-Flight: Ed Leonard
Junior 9-Hole Division: Hudson Leal
Junior U13 18-Hole Division: Benner Leal
Junior U15 Division: Bennett Jeffrey, highlighted by a Sunday round of 80

This year featured our largest field of junior competitors in years. Thank you to all participants, along with Stacie, John, Riley, Gary, and Mikey for executing a successful event.

We look forward to building on this momentum and continuing to grow the tournament next season.

The covered driving range bays at Duntroon Highlands offer full weather protection on the highest practice facility in Ontario. Located minutes from Collingwood and Blue Mountain, the range lets you practice in comfort with clear views across South Georgian Bay regardless of the weather.

Beyond the covered bays, the facility features a complete short game practice area, including dedicated practice greens and the famous Mega-Bunker to sharpen your sand play.

Range buckets and practice passes are available at the Pro Shop.
