Sault Ste. Marie Race Weekend

It was a fantastic weekend in Sault Ste. Marie for the Ontario Cup and National Marathon Championships. It was great to see so many of our athletes competing and representing Hardwood Racing with determination and pride.

Congratulations to all of our athletes on their accomplishments and efforts throughout the weekend. Your hard work and dedication continue to make our club proud.

A special congratulations to Sylvia Chabot, who made club history as Hardwood Racing’s second National Champion. This is an outstanding achievement and a tremendous accomplishment for both Sylvia and the club.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support our athletes, coaches, volunteers, and club. It was a memorable weekend for Hardwood Racing, and we look forward to celebrating many more achievements together.

Hardwood Racing Club is looking for volunteers to help out with parking this weekend!

📅 Friday, Aug. 21: 3:45–8:15 PM
📅 Saturday, Aug. 22: 7:45 AM–12:15 PM

Even if you can only help for a couple of hours, that would be amazing! Every volunteer helps our club earn money toward team events, equipment, and athlete programs. ❤️🖤

High school athletes are welcome to help too!

Timber24 Marshal Volunteers Needed — Hardwood Ski & Bike

Please note: This is a separate volunteer opportunity for Hardwood Ski & Bike and is NOT part of the Hardwood Racing Club’s parking-lot volunteer commitment.

Timber24, the annual 24-hour running relay, is happening this weekend, and Hardwood Ski & Bike still has a few Marshal shifts to fill!

Shifts are 2 hrs 15 min at a marshal station on the course, where you’ll cheer on the runners. You’ll be driven to and from the station, so no running required! 😄

🎁 Hardwood gift cards:
• $25 for daytime shifts
• $30 for overnight shifts

What a weekend at Boler Mountain for Ontario Cup #2! 🚵‍♂️🌧️🔥

After a beautiful start to the day, the skies opened up, tornado warnings paused the racing, and then came the mud! Once the all-clear was given, riders tackled slippery climbs, sketchy descents, and plenty of wipeouts in true mountain bike fashion.

By the end of the day, everyone crossed the finish line covered head to toe in mud and wearing huge smiles.

Epic conditions, unforgettable racing, and memories that will last a lifetime.
