Dean and Adam finished off the year with some great walleyes. The weather was great, the fishing was super, and you helped us have a wonderful year. See you in 2027! Bluffy Lake Lodge opener will be May 22 instead of May 15.

Another beautiful ,foggy morning. The fish have been moving around with the falling water temps. A week ago two boats did great with over 1200 walleye. The leaves are changing fast. Unbelievable how the season ends and it gets cool quickly. Within a couple days we will be back in Minnesota.

Picture is new, fun, enjoyable guys! If I couldn't find Dean, I knew where to look. Great week with wonderful groups of people. Also super fishing and weather. No smoke and no fires.

Here comes the rain.

We just got back from Minnesota for a 10 day vacation. We got lots done and I did some shopping. And of course enjoyed visiting friends and Dean's brother, Dale and family. Thanks to son Adam , for always mowing. The place looked super nice when we got home.

In Canada, the camp is looking great. Amazing how fast grass and poplar root suckers grow. We had over 1.5 inches of rain while we were gone . Trying to rain again. Thanks Sheldon for looking after Bluffy while we were gone. You are wonderful.

The Northern Outback is getting new siding. It also has new bedroom carpets.

It was a little hazy today but no smoke or fires. Yeah!

Just an FYI.

There aren't any fires in our area in Canada or in Minnesota. Hoping that lightning or people don't start any fires. There is smoke in Brainerd, Minnesota from fires in the northeast part of Minnesota and smoke in Red Lake, Ontario from fires North of Red Lake. Prayers to all those affected.

Dean finally got a big Northern. 36 inch. The weather has been great. The walleyes are still a great bite. We had another 1 1/2 inches of rain. The lake is going down some but it is holding better than in previous years.
