It is with great sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the sudden and terrible death of one of our own. Jennifer was a dancer, performer, friend and family to all of us here at Edmonton Academy.
"We are working with the police and will provide them with all information they need to solve this", said Josephine.
The studio will be closed for the remainder of the week and is asking for privacy as staff and students grieve during this difficult time.

Our RISING STAR of the day is Jennifer. This is Jennifer's third year dancing with Edmonton Academy. She is enrolled in Balllet, Jazz and various stage performance classes.
Jennifer started dancing when she was three years old and is looking forward to applying with the Royal Ballet School in London when she completes her program here. We wish her all the best in her performing and dancing career.

Happy Birthday to our Ballet teacher, theatre director, and Maria in our upcoming production of West Side Story, Ms. Josephine. 🎂🎉
She is everyone's favorite teacher and we don't know what we would do without her! If you have West Side Story rehearsals with her tonight, make sure to wish her a Happy Birthday!

We are thrilled to introduce Mark. He is a student at Edmonton Academy and today's RISING STAR. Mark is enrolled in Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Contemporary. He is also part of the upcoming production of West Side Story we are hosting in April.
Mark started dancing when he was six years old in Ottawa, Ontario. He is a versatile performer and a fantastic student. We are excited to see where he will go with his natural stage performance abilities and eager attitude.
