Good afternoon residents! Just a quick update at the facility!

The pool will remain open through this weekend, weather permitting. There is a large amount of forecasted rain again starting today with possible lightning/thundershowers. If this does occur, there will be potentials for closures but I will keep you all posted through here as well as via the email distribution list.

Finally, our baby swing lost and bolt and is currently out of order. I have ordered the parts and will give you all an ETA as to when the repairs can be completed. Thank you everyone for your patience and happy weekend!

Good evening residents! The forecast for the remainder of the week unfortunately does not look hopeful for a sun bathe by the pool. I will keep you guys updated in regards to whether the pool will be closed due to the rain and lightning caution. Hopefully the weather changes!

Friendly Reminder that our 5th Annual Taste of UW will be on Saturday, June 20, 2026 from 4:00PM - 8:00PM.

We will be having an early check-in option this year to pick up lanyards and register your family members prior to the event! Stay tuned for more information! Hope to see you all there!

Good morning residents! With rain in the forecast for today and tomorrow and cold temperatures we will be closing the pool today and tomorrow.

It is unfortunately not the start of the season we hoped for but hopefully by Wednesday we will see some warmer weather on its way! Thank you everyone for your patience and cooperation!

Good evening residents! The moment you have been waiting for (drumroll please!)....

We have passed our AHS inspection again this year and therefore the pool will be open on our usual slated date of Monday, June 1st!

We are actively working on fixing a few minor items at the pool to ensure it is running in excellent condition for Monday!

We have some new and exciting items coming up this summer season so stay tuned into next week! Happy Weekend everyone!

Good afternoon residents! My apologies for the delay in my updates as of late but I have been very busy hoping to get our pool open our usual slated date of June 1st! I wanted to give you all an update in the meantime!

We hit major snags in repair times this year due to the odd cold weather week we hit in the middle of May. I was able to catch up this week and much of last week and we have just completed our AHS inspection this afternoon. We are waiting for one last test result, which we hope will pass and we can open the pool. I will be updating you all tomorrow of the results! Thank you everyone for your patience!

Hi residents! If you recently lost an AirPod pro case I found one by the facility with the landscapers! It was beeping around noon today from someone that was trying to locate it! If it is yours please PM me! Thanks everyone!

Good afternoon residents! Please be advised that the City of Edmonton are currently sweeping Upper Windermere; cars that are parked on the roads may get ticketed so if you can please make sure to move your car off the main and arterial roads so the sweeping can be completed that would be great!

Our landscapers, as well as the City of Edmonton staff are clearing all the gravel, sand and debris from the winter months off the grounds, particularly the grassy areas for the sweepers to clean up so please be aware of additional dust in the areas.

Good morning residents!

My apologies for my delay in the communication but our outdoor courts are setup and ready for the summer!

All four pickleball nets are out for use, as well as the tennis net! Our two adjustable basketball nets have also been lowered for the season for our younger residents to enjoy!

We are continuing to clean the leaves/debris/dirt around the rink area and will keep up as the weather warms up!

Friendly reminders as we begin using the facility for the spring/summer season:

-Dogs are not permitted inside the facility; if you are using the courts, playground area, pets will be required to remain outside. -Court bookings for pickleball will open Mid-May after we have finalized our summer court schedule.
-Spring cleanup will continue the next few weeks so there may be more contractors onsite cleaning our garden beds and the grass.
