Held in memory of Amy Alain—a passionate trail runner, nature lover, and devoted mother of two—Run On has brought our community together each September since 2019. Set against the stunning fall colours of the Edmonton River Valley and led by Race Director Janelle Schultz, the event celebrates Amy’s love of the trails while helping make a meaningful difference for families facing cancer.
Choose from the 50 km Ultra, Marathon, Half Marathon, Team Relay, or 5 km Walk/Run.

The Run On crew was lucky enough to spend the day caring for racers out at at the Porcupine Aid Station.
The weather was great, the smiles were big and the recorder tunes were rocking.
Yes. You read that right. 🤣

It’s a new event category at Run On 2026.
Here’s how it works. Sign up is completely FREE 😎
Choose how many loops of the 5 Loops of the course you want to run. No need to commit beforehand, just show up and see how many you can get done.
To participate in this ‘choose your own adventure’ event, you commit to raising $500 for Amys House using our fundraising platform with Canada Helps.
When you register through the website (link in bio), select ‘Open500’ and create a fundraising page to share with your networks.
All for a good cause. 🏡💕

Registration for Run On 2026 is OPEN TODAY! And we can’t wait to share the trails with you again on September 20th at Alfred Savage Centre, Edmonton, AB.
Race distances are 50k, Solo Marathon, Relay Marathon (teams of 2-4), Half Marathon, 5k.
