The annual Curling Alberta Awards took place today at the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame, and we’re proud to share that Team Kennedy received their Provincial Champions banner! 🥌🎉

With most of the team tied up with other sport commitments this weekend, our second Sophie was able to attend and accept the award on behalf of the team.

We are incredibly proud to be Provincial Champions and honoured to represent Alberta on the national stage this season. Thank you to everyone who has supported us this past season and who continue to support Team Kennedy! 💙🥌

Tonight was extra special as two teammates faced off against each other! ⚾️Savannah’s U19 fastball team took on Sophia’s U17 team. Both teams played an awesome game and showed great sportsmanship, but Savannah and the U19s came out on top! 👏So proud of both players and teams — what a great night of fastball! 💙⚾️

We couldn’t be prouder of what this team accomplished together. From the first stone of the season to the final games, it was an absolute blast playing alongside Savannah and Kyra and sharing so many great moments on and off the ice.

Winning U18 Provincials 🥇 and representing our province at the U18 Nationals in Timmins was an incredible experience and one we’ll never forget.

A huge thank you to our coach, Glen, for the leadership, dedication, and belief in this team every step of the way. We’re also incredibly grateful to the City of Beaumont, the Beaumont Curling Club, and all of our amazing sponsors for their generous support this year. And to each and every person who supported us along the way this past season — thank you for cheering us on and believing in us.

We truly couldn’t have done this without you.

Our U18 National Junior Curling Championship journey has come to an end.

We want to send a huge thank you to everyone who supported us on our journey to the U18 National Junior Curling Championship in Timmins, Ontario! 🇨🇦🥌

From the moment we stepped onto the ice at provincials to earn our spot at Nationals, this experience has been unforgettable.
Every game, every challenge, and every step along the way was made possible because of the incredible support surrounding our team.

To our families, coaches, sponsors, home curling club, our community, and fans—thank you for cheering us on, lifting us up, and believing in us from start to finish.
Competing on the national stage was an honour, and we’re proud to finish 13th overall.

Nationals may be wrapped up, but the memories, lessons, and support we received will stay with us for a long time. We’re grateful for the opportunity to represent our province and community, and we couldn’t have done it without all of you.
