🏁 Driver Spotlight – Barry McTavish | JUS-CO Racing 🏁
When it comes to dedication to IMCA racing in Canada, Barry McTavish is truly one of the originals.
Barry has competed in IMCA Canada sanctioned events for an incredible 38 consecutive seasons, proudly holding License #1 in the Modified Division—a number that represents decades of commitment, competition, and passion for racing.
Running pavement, Barry calls Edmonton International Raceway his home track, while Hythe Motor Speedway has become his home away from home, where fans regularly see the JUS-CO Racing machine battling it out on the track.
Year after year, Barry continues to represent what grassroots racing is all about—hard work, loyalty to the sport, and the friendships built in the pits and in the grandstands.
None of it would be possible without the incredible support behind the team. Barry and JUS-CO Racing would like to thank their amazing friends, family, supporters, and sponsors for the 2026 season:
🔧 Laurel McTavish – RE/MAX Realty
🔧 Annugas Compression Consulting Ltd – Mark Burton
🔧 Synergy Coatings Inc – Pat Pringle
🔧 Spirstar Hose / APS – Riverstone Pressure Systems
🔧 Reflections on 66
🔧 Torrent Drilling Solutions
🔧 Dizzy Hydraulics
After 38 years behind the wheel, Barry is still doing what he loves — racing hard and representing IMCA Canada with pride.
🏁 Watch for Barry McTavish and the JUS-CO Racing team at Edmonton International Raceway and Hythe Motor Speedway this season!

What. A. Weekend. 🤯 The 2025 IMCA Canada season wrapped up in jaw-dropping fashion at Fire & Flood Emergency Services Speedway, Central Alberta Raceways in Rimbey, Alberta — and fans were treated to history in the making!
🔥 Canadian Modified Showdown
Dean Bell came in with a slim 2-point lead over Quin Fahrenschon — and the two put on an absolute masterclass. Quin swept both feature wins, Dean powered home 2nd in both, and on paper they looked dead even with Quin banking two 39-point runs and Dean two 38s.
But here’s where it gets spicy: with both having more than 12 races, their lowest scores got dropped. After the math was crunched and the dust cleared — Quin edged Dean by just TWO points to sn**ch the crown!
🏆 Congratulations Quin Fahrenschon – the 2025 IMCA Canada Canadian Modified Champion!

🔥 SportMod Division – A Finish for the Ages!
Heading into Rimbey, Michael Reneau had a commanding 36-point advantage over Emma Fitzpatrick. But Emma wasn’t done yet. With only 11 races in her tally, every lap still mattered.
Day 1: Michael edged Emma by one spot. He gained 2 points (thanks to dropping a lower score), while Emma picked up 33 to close the gap to 409–404. Advantage Michael.
Day 2: Emma needed a miracle — finishing five spots ahead of Michael in a 9-car field just to tie. Against all odds, she delivered. Emma stormed to a 4th-place finish (36 points), while Michael slipped to 8th (32 points). The crowd went WILD.
The calculators came out. After drops and adjustments, the impossible became reality — a tie for the 2025 IMCA SportMod Championship!
Tie-breaker time: most feature wins. Both had none. Next up — 2nd-place finishes. Emma had 2. Michael had 1. And just like that…
🏆 Emma Fitzpatrick – the 2025 IMCA Canada Canadian SportMod Champion!
From one of the youngest to one of the most seasoned racers, this battle was one for the record books.
