Pandas Juniors: Emma DeSchiffart, Abby Desormeau, Bethany Evans, Sarah Yarmuch, Alison Thiesen.

Congratulations to UofA juniors Lucas, Sarah, and Peter for winning the 2026 World Open Triples Competition at Saville.

They gave an impressive showing, going undefeated in this event.

Congratulations to Emma Yarmuch, Third for the Pandas Varsity Curling team, on her nomination for the University of Alberta Female Rookie of the Year award.

These nominations reflect exceptional performance, dedication, and impact in their first year of competition.

The Golden Bears and Pandas Curling program is pleased to announce this season’s MVP award recipients.

Gracelyn Richards, Pandas Varsity Skip, has been named the 2025/2026 Pandas Curling MVP.

Zach Davies, Golden Bears Varsity Skip, has been awarded the 2025/2026 Men’s Varsity Curling Team MVP.

USPORTS Bronze Medalists 🥉

Congratulations to the University of Alberta Golden Bears and Pandas curling teams on their bronze medals at the 2026 USports Championship.

The Golden Bears went 4-3 in round robin, and the Pandas held a 5-2 record.
