We are very proud of our 3 dancers who auditioned for World Performers Canada today. Each of these dancers earned a spot on a team but wanted to audition for other genres. Thank you StandingOvationDance for the opportunity.

Congratulations to our 2 Graduating dancers this season! We have enjoyed watching Faith and Avery grow into beautiful young women. Thank you for including SSDC in your dance journey. We are so proud of you. 🩷🩷🎓🎓

The competition season came to an incredible close. We finished dance with In The Jungle winning the Dance Off for Division 1! Many scholarships, top scoring groups, solos and duets. We are so proud of our dancers. Let’s soak up this last week of classes, rehearsals and then finish strong with recital. What a season!!!! Our cups are full 🩷🩷🩷🥹🥹🥹

Our hearts couldn’t be much more full 🩷 in Banff has been so rewarding and cup filling. We watched our dancers absolutely tear the stage up, having some of their best and most impactful performances of the year. The kindness and community among our parents and teammates made the week even more enjoyable. Witnessing the bonding among the littles and the bigs, the staff and the fan club is just as important as any medals and trophies. Final awards were the cherry on top after these 4 long days. We took home a new accomplishment that we have not had the honour of winning yet in our 6 years. 2nd place top studio in the competitive division!!! We cried 🥹😭🥹To see how far we have come and how hard our teachers and dancers have worked is insane! As a studio owner, dancer teacher and dance mom, I couldn’t be more invested. Every win, every dance, every tear… I feel it, I’m right there with you all every time. Thank you all for making my dreams come true and sharing your dreams with me! The SSDC family is the best!! 🩷🩷👏👏🙌🏻🙌🏻

And that’s a wrap on ! Congrats to In The Jungle and .darby.watson for taking 3rd in the Dance Off. We are so proud of our 4 routines in the finals this evening and all of our dancers. Great first comp!
