Edmonton Vintage Volkswagen Association (EVVA) is a group of people dedicated to the preservation and promotion of iconic Volkswagens. Like iconic Volkswagens?
We do that by hosting meetings, gatherings and good times for anyone interested in classic VWs. Then you will love us. We love everything to do with vintage VWs. We also like to get together and look at, work on, drive, and talk VWs. Come out to a meeting or in the summer join us for a cruise. Dates and time will be posted here. Let’s join the fiesta with a mini cruise heading to El Mero Mero Taquería to help them celebrate Mexican Independence Day! They’re hosting a family-friendly parking lot fiesta filled with entertainment and incredible, authentic Mexican food!
Mexico has strong ties with Volkswagen and the VW Beetle (where they have given it the nickname “Vocho”)
What better way to celebrate this bond than by supporting a local Mexcian restaurant!
We’ll be meeting at 1:30 pm, in the brewery district at the usual cars & coffee location (parking lot by Starbucks, 11926 - 104 Ave NW) and get ready to roll out by 1:45 pm
El Mero Mero suggests that we get there early, as parking may be limited.
