The Fuzion Equipment Exchange is intended to connect genuine hockey families who are ready to buy and sell respectfully. Please make fair offers, respond when plans change and only contact a seller when you’re genuinely interested. If you change your mind, a quick message is all it takes.

FUZION EQUIPMENT EXCHANGE — FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHO CAN USE THE EXCHANGE?

Everyone. You do not need to be registered with Fuzion or live in Sherwood Park. The exchange is available to hockey families from any association or community.

IS IT ONLY FOR KIDS’ EQUIPMENT?

No. Kids’ and adult equipment can both be listed. The exchange supports hockey players of every age and gender.

IS THERE A FEE TO LIST SOMETHING?

No. Listing and browsing equipment is free.

CAN I NEGOTIATE THE PRICE?

Absolutely. Buyers are welcome to make a reasonable offer and try to get the best deal. Sellers are equally welcome to accept, decline or make a counteroffer. Please keep negotiations respectful—there is a difference between bargaining and making an unreasonable lowball offer.

HOW DO I CONTACT A SELLER?

Use the contact button on the listing. All communication, payment and pickup arrangements happen directly between the buyer and seller.

WHAT IF I CHANGE MY MIND?

That’s completely fine—just send a quick message. Please avoid sending “Is this available?” unless you are genuinely interested, and don’t leave sellers waiting after arrangements have been discussed.

HOW DOES A SELLER MARK SOMETHING AS SOLD?

Sellers receive a private management link by email after submitting a listing. That link can be used to edit the listing, mark the item sold, remove it or relist it.

DOES FUZION INSPECT OR GUARANTEE THE EQUIPMENT?

No. Fuzion provides the listing service but does not inspect equipment, process payments or guarantee transactions. Buyers are responsible for checking condition, fit, certification and expiry information before purchasing.

WHY DID FUZION CREATE THIS?

Hockey equipment is expensive, especially for families new to the game and parents replacing gear as their children grow. The exchange helps families pass along equipment that still has life left in it, find more affordable gear and keep more players on the ice.

Hockey kids grow fast—and replacing equipment every season - or even mid-season - adds up.

But trying to sell gear online can be a hassle: endless messages, lowball offers, no-shows, and marketplaces that make it feel like more work than it’s worth.

When we buy and sell within our community, we take back control—supporting local families, giving quality equipment another season on the ice, and keeping hockey more affordable for everyone.

That’s why Fuzion is launching a gear exchange app designed to cut out the frustration of other online marketplaces and help grow our female hockey community.

They may outgrow their gear, but the cost of replacing it should never push them out of the game.
