From OHAEdmonton to SSAC Hockey to Edmonton Scottish United SC, we’ve worked with teams across sports to build training programs around the demands of their game.
Generic circuits don’t account for what your sport actually demands from your athletes. We start by looking at the movement patterns your sport requires, then build sessions around strength, power, and agility that reflect those demands. The result is athletes who move safer, perform better, and understand why they’re doing the work in the first place.
By the end of the season, follow-up testing shows the team exactly how far they’ve come and where to focus next.

SPARK by The Bridge 🤝 Edmonton Stingers 🤝
Pro athletes and everyday movers train under the same roof, with the same principles.
Build a solid base, load it progressively, then adjust based on what the data shows. It’s how the Edmonton Stingers get ready for tip-off, and it’s how someone gets back into the gym after years off.
The intensity changes. The load changes. The approach doesn’t.

You can feel like you’re getting stronger, or you can watch the numbers actually prove it.
Objective testing is built into our programming at SPARK. We measure metrics that make the difference in your sport and retest as you progress, so your program is built on where you really stand instead of a guess.
That PR wasn’t luck, and that faster sprint time wasn’t just a good day. It’s the work, measured, with your coaches adjusting your program based on what the data actually shows.
The drive was never the problem. Now the direction matches it.

Meet Hayley, s&c coach at SPARK.
She started with us as a kin student in Sherwood Park, spent a stretch on the front desk in South Edmonton, and has been coaching here since. You’ll find her running high-energy group classes and working one on one with her roster of personal training clients, some coming back from injury, some chasing a number.
Off the clock she’s in the mountains, on the slopes, or getting talked into yet another Edmonton co-ed league by her friends. Otherwise, she’s out exploring the city with her golden retriever Angus, and if you’re really lucky, you might even spot him in the gym.
Swipe to get to know a little more about her!

Meet Mack. Performance Director at SPARK and an absolute fixture on our floor; she’s been hyping up group classes and dialling in personal training clients for as long as we can remember.
Outside the gym, you’ll usually find her in Edmonton’s trail system, pushing for a spot at another world marathon major after crushing Boston’s 42km’s back in April.
If the speakers are loud and the Big Bo**ie Mix is on, you already know she’s there, bringing an infectious energy to her sessions and the skillset/knowledge to back it all up.
Swipe to get to know her a little better.

Marcel Desmarais is our Performance Director, an NSCA Registered Strength and Conditioning Coach and CSCS. Since earning his kinesiology degree in 2015, he’s worked with athletes from over a dozen sports, ranging from grassroots to professional levels.
His training always starts with mobility and foundational movement patterns, the groundwork for building speed, power, strength, agility, and conditioning while reducing injury risk.
This is an approach that works as well for athletes as it does for your everyday mover. Whether you’re competing or just working toward better fitness, Marcel’s programming is built to get real results.

40 for 40 challenge has come to an end 🎉
Over a duration of 90 days (September 18 to December 18), members at SPARK by The Bridge pushed themselves to complete 40 classes, and we couldn’t be more proud. Every participant who hit the 40 class milestone earned a prize - and all finishers were also entered into a draw for an epic grand prize: A Recovery Package featuring a free Theragun and a 90-minute massage.
Thank you to everyone who showed up, stayed consistent, and made this challenge such a success! 💪✨
